It also includes alternatives to various comfort foods that might be hard to indulge in while on keto. This was certainly a helpful point, especially for when I was looking to cut out sugars, but wanted some yummy and fulfilling snacks.

This is a very in-depth guide for those of us who are looking to get into ketogenic diets. One major benefit is how in-depth this can be, and the information it provides.

One huge benefit to this book, is that it provides other important information to help you as well. Not only does it have different meal plans, including five different 28-day ones to assist you, it actually gives you a simple guide for grocery shopping, foods that are automatic yes and no’s, replacements for food sensitivities, how to start moving away from dairy, and a lot more.

This one focuses much more on weight loss than others, which was what I initially went for, so it was helpful. One of the biggest plus points for this is that it’s much more personal than others. It contains various information on food sensitivities so you can tailor the diet to yourself. Plus, Leanne is actually quite funny, and she provides solid information in an entertaining way, and proves there isn’t just one way to do it.

However, one major downside is that it can be almost too detailed. It’s quite advanced compared to other keto books, and contains a wealth of information, so if you’re one who tends to get overwhelmed, it could be a bit of a hard one to approach. However, that’s also a plus point, because it is a comprehensive keto book for many, and not only that, it has lots of information that can help you, and for those who are serious about the ketogenic diet, it’s quite helpful, and there’s a reason why it’s one of the best keto diet books out there.

It is simple to understand and hands-on, and many enjoy the simplicity of this. It contains a decent amount of recipes to get you started as well.

Now, this is a great book for those like myself who were hesitant about starting the ketogenic diet. Moore sums up the following regarding it:

It shows in such an easy manner how to start the ketogenic diet, and I felt a connection with her, because she found a way to utilize this, despite trying every other diet on the planet.

As someone who’s read a lot of ketogenic diets, I personally found this one quite easy to use, especially since there are so many recipes to follow.

It’s available currently in Kindle format, but upon using this, I noticed it did have a very easy readability to it.

One of the top elements that makes this stand out is just how in-depth this gets, and the scientific factors behind this popular book. It also tells you how you can reset your diet in just three weeks.

Now Sisson is a bestselling author of the book called The Primal Blueprint which is an in-depth look at the paleo diet. This book goes into the keto diet in an in-depth and scientific manner, and while it might seem a bit overwhelming to read, it’s actually very informative.

I learned a lot of scientific information about ketosis from this, and it’s a very beginner-friendly book. However, one of the biggest things about this, is that you do need to read the whole book, because with all of the information in it, many tend to just gloss over, and there is so much within this that you might miss it.

You can reset your metabolism in three weeks, and the recipes and information are pretty easy to follow.

One of the biggest downsides is the confusion in the formatting. The phots are in the middle, so it might be confusing, and you do have to do some digging. It also might be intimidating in a sense to a newbie because of the scientific information, so keep that in mind.

You can read up on the recipe, with it perfectly broken down, and while it does focus mostly as a ketogenic cookbook, she does lay out various helpful tips to really utilize this diet.

Now, out of all the books, I found this to have the best recipes. You see it all neatly laid out, with gorgeous pictures, and you can see easily what you need, and if you’re looking for a particular recipe for a meal plan, she actually lists the page.

It’s super easy to navigate, the author is funny, and it’s even broken down by macros. The only downside is that it doesn’t have it broken down into meat vs. vegetarian, but that wasn’t a huge issue for me, since I was just going for the food.
